Welcome to the Majors Personality Type Inventory

The Majors PTI is an instrument that helps facilitate your learning valuable information about various aspects of your personality. You will learn about how you direct your energy, take in information, make decisions, and how you orient yourself to your environment.

Instructions for Completing the Majors PTI

There are no right or wrong answers on the instrument and there is no assumed "right" personality pattern.

For the results to accurately reflect your preferences:

  • Put yourself in a relaxed state of mind.
  • Respond as you would under ordinary circumstances - your "shoes off, feet up self".
  • Read the directions carefully.
  • Do not spend too much time on any one question.
  • Make your choice based upon your preference for one option over the other no matter how slight that preference is.
  • If you cannot decide or do not understand, select the (N) Neutral button (keep in mind that too many Neutral selections reduce the instrument's accuracy).

Please give the following information in order to provide you with the most accurate results.
